You will be picked up from your accommodation in Zanzibar and transferred to Karume Airport in Zanzibar to catch a direct flight to Serengeti National Park The Safari trip to Serengeti begins after landing at the airstrip (SERONERA) in the morning and starts with a game drive, dinner and overnight stay in Serengeti. This park (Serengeti National Park) is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes: short grass plains, savanna, dense bush, swamps and lakes. Bizarre rock formations, called kopjes, dot the grassy landscape, where predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for its annual migration, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra move to find fresh grass and water. On this safari you can witness the Big Five.

After breakfast you will continue on safari to the other side of the Serengeti to observe game in Serengeti National Park. The areas you visit will depend on where the migrating herds are; our professional guide will try to find the animals that interest you most, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.
