DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met by our professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax at the lodge or enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. After a picnic lunch, continue to the highlands of Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti (Overnight)

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich areas. Descend into the crater floor for a memorable game drive where you may encounter elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After lunch, continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge or camp..

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ascend the crater rim and proceed to Karatu, where your safari comes to an end. Transfer arrangements can be made onward to Arusha or the airport upon request.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park – Departure
