Scarface Safaris Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement Overview

These terms and conditions govern the use of services provided by Scarface Safaris Limited (referred to as “the Company”). By booking a safari with Scarface Safaris, the client agrees to comply with these terms.

3. Booking and Payment

To confirm your booking with Scarface Safaris, a 50% deposit of the total safari cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance is due at least 30 days prior to the scheduled safari departure date.

  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods. All payments must be received in full by the due date.

  • Currency: All payments are to be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) or US Dollars (USD), as specified at the time of booking.

  • Non-refundable Deposit: The deposit is non-refundable unless the safari is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, as outlined below.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations: If a booking is canceled by the client:

    • More than 30 days prior to departure: 50% of the total safari cost will be refunded (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

    • 30 days or less prior to departure: No refund will be given.

  • Company Cancellations: If Scarface Safaris needs to cancel a safari for reasons such as unsafe weather conditions, natural disasters, or any event beyond our control, the client will be offered a full refund or an alternative safari date of equal value.

5. Liability

  • Travel Insurance: Clients are strongly advised to obtain adequate travel insurance that covers personal injury, trip cancellations, lost baggage, and emergency medical situations.

  • Safari Participation: Clients acknowledge the inherent risks involved in safari travel, including but not limited to wild animal encounters and adverse weather conditions. Scarface Safaris is not responsible for any injury, illness, or loss that may occur during the safari, except in cases of negligence by the Company.

  • Force Majeure: Scarface Safaris will not be held liable for failure to perform services due to situations beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or strikes.

6. Accommodation and Itinerary

  • Accommodation: Scarface Safaris will provide the agreed-upon accommodation during the safari. The company reserves the right to make changes to the accommodations if necessary, provided it is of equal or greater standard.

  • Itinerary: While Scarface Safaris will make every effort to follow the scheduled itinerary, we reserve the right to modify or alter the itinerary in case of weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

7. Health and Safety

  • Medical Requirements: It is the client’s responsibility to inform the Company of any medical conditions or special requirements prior to booking. Scarface Safaris may require a medical certificate in certain cases.

  • Vaccinations: Clients are responsible for ensuring they have received all necessary vaccinations and meet health entry requirements for Tanzania.

8. Code of Conduct

During the safari, clients must follow the instructions of the safari guides and staff. The Company reserves the right to remove any client who behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner, with no refund provided for unused services.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Scarface Safaris respects your privacy. Any personal information provided during booking will only be used for the purpose of delivering the safari services and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law or for the necessary operational purposes of your safari.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms and conditions are governed by Tanzanian law. Any disputes arising from the safari will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
