DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met by our professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, relax at the lodge or enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy a game drive through the park with opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a variety of bird species. After a picnic lunch, continue to the highlands of Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward Central Serengeti (Seronera region). This area is renowned for year-round wildlife viewing, including large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and abundant plains game. Enjoy an afternoon game drive upon arrival in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Wildebeest Migration)

Following breakfast, drive north toward the Northern Serengeti, the prime region for witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal). This area near the Mara River offers dramatic river crossings, massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, and intense predator activity. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive focused on migration movements.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Central Serengeti

Spend the morning on a final migration-focused game drive in Northern Serengeti before driving back toward Central Serengeti. The route offers excellent opportunities to spot predators following the herds across the open plains. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon game drive upon arrival.

Day 6: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater for a game drive, where you may encounter lions, elephants, buffalos, flamingos, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. After lunch, ascend and proceed to Karatu for overnight .

Day 7: Karatu – Arusha – Departure
